Race 3 No.12 STREET GOSSIP
Powered home from the tail on debut in Sydney and might have well above average ability give the time they ran. This is a flat race [no standout] and she has shown enough to be competitive.
Race 4 No.10 CARIFF
Unsuited by the heavy track and strike a dry one for the first time in a while. He was $31 last start and single digits against Stockman the run before. Happy to find out at $101.
Race 5 No.13 GLORY BOUND
Looks set to peak here 3UP given her narrow 2nd at G2 level when at this stage of her last prep. Great each-way bet at double figures.
Race 6 No.4 ROTHFIRE
Top line sprinter whose peak figure this prep will put him right in the picture and we reckon he's had some excuses around that run. Massive price at $34.
Race 7 No.5 MR BRIGHTSIDE
Our data suggests he's a much better horse at 1600m and his last 3 starts have been 1800, 2000 and 2000. Up against it with PRIVATE EYE the standout but he represents an each-way play.
Race 8 No.4 MAXIMAL
His run over this track and trip in the Turnbull Stakes was solid then strikes an unsuitable heavy track in the Cox Plate. Big improver.
Race 9 No.7 LINAS LEGEND
We've backed TREPORTI in our Early Shopping article but there's a chance he won't get a run. Lina's Legend is massive horse that needs room and he didn't get that at Geelong 1UP. But he will here from gate 19.
