He's a G1 winner over this track and distance that is 3UP here and is 3 from 6 at this stage of a prep. Loves soft tracks too.

Race 3 No.4 SIRIUS SUSPECT

Track and distance specialist [14:5-1-2] that was 8 weeks between runs going into his last start and won his two starts before that. Chances increase if track is soft [14:4-2-1].

Race 4 No.13 WHISPERING LADY

Comes out of high rating races and didn't have clearest run at the top of the straight last time in the Ethereal Stakes. Love the fact she gets here with a 2000m run under the belt.

Race 5 No.16 LORD VLADIVOSTOK

Ratings suggest he's a run behind this prep so despite the formguide saying he's 4UP we reckon he'll run more to a 3UP figure and at that stage of his prep he's 4:2-1-0.

Race 6 No.17 C'EST MAGIQUE

Looks a genuine straight-horse judging by run two starts back behind Nanagui, no luck latest run. Draw gives M Dee option. Could also speck Serajan, who ran the best last 400/200 of Cox Plate day.

Race 7 No.17 LEHNDORF

Broke his maiden at Kembla [NSW] last Saturday in slow time off a dawdling tempo. But he ran the best last 600, 400 & 200 of the day and he was building through the line. Worth a speck at $126.

Race 8 No.12 YEARNING

Relishes rain affected going and typically peaks 3UP. Also keen on PALAISIPAN, who comes out of the highest rating mares' race this spring.

Race 9 No.16 VERANSKOVA

Winner down the straight, placed 6 from 9 on wet tracks and draws perfectly.
