Here are the predicted track patterns for Flemington, Rosehill and Ipswich this Saturday.
FLEMINGTON At this point with the track deep into the Soft Range we are seeing Lanes 1,2 inferior with Lane 3 better and Lanes 4+ the best. If the track was to dry up then those inner Lanes may become less of a disadvantage. There is some wind around on Saturday and if it gets to the 35km/hr as predicted then there will be quite a strong breeze into their faces coming around the home turn. We'd suggest if the wind is in play then look for horses that can get cover stalking the speed, waiting for the home straight before pulling out and launching their claim
ROSEHILL Lanes 1 inferior, Lane 2 better but still a slight penalty. Lanes 3+ is where we expect the bulk of the winners with Lanes 4-8 the Sweet Spot
IPSWICH Appears pretty even across with a small advantage to make your run in Lanes 2-6 as opposed to hard up against the rail. Look for horses that stalk the speed and can blend into the race three and four wide coming around the bend
