How Will Randwick & Sandown Play?

Here is the predicted track pattern for Randwick and Saturday on Saturday featuring five Group 1 races.

Randwick is expected to at least get to a Soft 5 with some forecasting a Good 4 by the first race.

“The inner Lanes 1,2 are marginally inferior to Lanes 3-6. We’d suggest looking for horses that settle in the running line and can blend into the race at least three horses off the rail”

Heading south to Sandown and the track will almost certainly get an upgrade to a Good 3 at some point during the day.

“Lanes 1,2 ok but slightly inferior to Lanes 3,4,5,6 and fine wider than that. In races over 1100m or less, wide gates advantaged. In the circle races, it should be pretty fair but we’d suggest looking for horses that can settle handy and get into Lanes 3-6”
