TBF Ratings has you covered for all 8 races at The Valley on Manikato Stakes night.
TRACK: Good 4 but that could change.
WEATHER: Up to 15mm of rain forecast to arrive late afternoon/evening.
TRACKWALKER: We are working off a good track, therefore horses settling on or near speed utilising lanes 1 and 2 will be advantaged - that's how our tips have been generated.
EARLY SPEED: Expect them to go harder and harder in races if this rain doesn't eventuate. That'll mean you need a fit, tough horse.
TBF TIPS
R1 OCEAN MISS (4) drops back from G3 grade, maps to lead from gate 2 and looks suited out to 2040m. TOKORANGI (6) contested a hot Bendigo race last start and should peak here.
R2 Looks a set play coming to a rich Vobis race first-up with GRANDSLAM (4) with J Kah on. IMPERIAL LAD (5) is our leader, races well at MV, placed 4 from 5 when 3UP.
R3 Tough race but LEGEND OF ZORRO (8) looks the big improver onto a dry deck.
R4 FISSION (6) returns gelded off 11 weeks when beaten 5lens in fast time, parks in behind them and blouses them late.
R5 TAUNTING (3) rates on top but can't take $2.30, maybe wait for drift then bet.
R6 TERRITORY TITAN (7) drops in grade, maps to lead and rates on top.
R7 MANIKATO STAKES BOX TRIFECTA
R8 We're backing Gemma Rielly to have CLAIDHEAMH MOR (8) primed on the back-up.
TBF BEST: Take the Two-Pronged attack on R2 both to WIN - GRANDSLAM & IMPERIAL LAD
