Lanes 1 & 2 slightly inferior but should hold up for first couple of races. No issue leading today but we expect riders of frontrunners to swing off the rail into lanes 3 and beyond as they enter the straight

BARRIERS

1100m or less – One turn into straight, wide gates ok and they can become quite advantageous when fence is off

1200m – Short run into long bend, need pace to cross from wide gate
