Cronulla Sharks top the ladder after holding off an improved Rabbitohs outfit last week. Bookies currently have the Sharks a $15 chance to record their second NRL premiership in 2024. They’ve been ultra consistent for a long time finishing in the top 4 in 2022 and missing out by just 2 wins last year. Expect the Panthers and Broncos to find their groove in the coming weeks. If you’re a Sharks fan the $2.63 to finish in the top 4 might be your futures bet.

BLOCKBUSTER

We start Round 7 with a mouth-watering clash between the Sydney Roosters and Melbourne Storm. The Storm have won 8 of last 9 clashes between these two heavyweights including the past 3 in a row.

Xavier Coates has scored 7 tries in his past 3 games against the Roosters and is $2.18 to score again

BATHURST BATTLE

Penrith Panthers will be looking to get revenge for last year's shock loss to the Wests Tigers at Bathurst. The Panthers have won 7 out of 12 games at Carrington Park while the the Tigers want to continue their 100% winning record and go back to back. Panthers will again be without Nathan Cleary while the Tigers welcome back boom rookie and five-eighth, Lachlin Galvin from 2 week suspension.

Panthers have leaked more points down their right edge than any spot on the park. Look for Galvin to link up with centre Justin Olam and expose this. Olam has scored 3 tries in 2 games when Galvin is on the field and you can secure $3.90 about Olam to score. The Tigers have covered the line (+13.5) in each of their last 4 matches against Penrith and are $1.90 to do so again. Tigers have conceded 3 tries out of 5 games from fullbacks this year.  This could present greater opportunities for Panthers fullback Dylan Edwards to score. Edwards has scored in 4 out of 6 games in 2024 and is $2.30 to score here.
