The last G1 of 2024 is set to take place this Saturday with the 49th running of the Northerly Stakes over 1800m at Ascot.
Formerly known as the Kingston Town Classic before being renamed in 2022, the premier race of the Perth Carnival again sees local talent mixed with interstate invaders attempting to get a cut of the $1.5 million prize pool. Recent winners include ARCADIAN QUEEN (2018), REGAL POWER (2021) and AMELIA’S JEWEL (2022).
