Here are the predicted track patterns for Caulfield, Randwick and Eagle Farm this Saturday.
CAULFIELD If the track dries up then the inner Lanes will come into play whereas moisture in the track will suit off rail. Biggest issue at Caulfield on Saturday will be the wind coming into their faces as they go down the side. This will provide a significant advantage for horses to get cover between the 900m - 400m. To do this you either need to be following a horse into the race or be tucked in behind the speed not needing to make your run until the home straight. Advantage on speed horses that can get cover off rail until the 400m.
RANDWICK Inner Lanes feel fine. Sweet Spot is predicted to be Lanes 1-5 and we'd suggest there is an advantage for Leaders / On-Speed runners.
EAGLE FARM Lanes 1,2 inferior. Lane 3 better. Lanes 4+ Best ground. ADVANTAGE horses that can settle off rail with cover
