Here are the predicted track patterns for Flemington, Rosehill, Doomben and Morphettville this Saturday.
FLEMINGTON Lanes 1,2 a penalty with Lane 3 better. We'd suggest looking for horses that make their runs in Lanes 4+
ROSEHILL Lane 1 a tad inferior with Lanes 2-6 best. The sweet spot looks to be Lanes 3,4,5. No issue coming wider than Lane 6 but it's just a matter of getting out there without conceding ground. The best play might be to cut the corner and then make your run 3-5 off the fence. Rails in run should be fine and possibly an advantage.
DOOMBEN Lane 1 a penalty, Lane 2 better with Lanes 3+ the best. There was plenty of dew on the course on Friday morning but we should end up on a Soft 5 by the first race provided there's no more rain. Horses like EXCELIDA later in the card who need a dry track will probably get it.
MORPHETVILLE Lanes 1,2 inferior with Lane 3 better but Lanes 4+ should be where the bulk of the winners come from. Fair chance the leaders will anchor off fence at some point during the meeting, which may make those mid-draws more favourable than wide gates
